After having the bike and our journey blessed by a cigar-smoking Belgian priest at Dover whilst waiting for our evening Ferry, much needed sunshine accompanies us across northern France, into Luxembourg and on to Germany. Our friend, George von Walburg, shows us incredible hospitality and is kind enough to spend the day assisting us with the bike and planning the next few days journey through Bavaria and into Austria (thank-you George) The country is stunning and the lakes and mountains are only left behind as we drive to Vienna, where we are enjoying a longer than anticipated stay whilst the bike is rebuilt by BMW Wien. Perhaps one blessing was not quite enough.
